The last words of three executed U.S. inmates were handwritten onto green film leader, red film trailer, and blank film.
In the exhibition space they are projected as endless loops that mark out three vertical rectangles and as ribbons of text between ceiling and floor of the space. The projections cannot show the text in legible form, but only as a flicker. The apparatus fails due to the material.
